About DISC

DISC provides free support and information for carers of people living with dementia all the way through and beyond the caring journey.  This can be over the phone, by post, through email, or in the form of facilitated support groups and information courses which are also free.  DISC also offers paid for tailored packages for corporate staff training.

Testimonials

“The service and support offered by DISC is invaluable to carers of people with dementia. Without it we would all be on our own. It is through being able to share and support each other with the wonderful assistance of Emma and Louise, that we are able to continue to care for our loved ones.”

Support Group Attendee

“I would like to say how much your courses mean to me. They are informative and the atmosphere is conducive with learning and relaxing which all helps to give us a mental break from our role as Carers.”

'E from Bexhill'

"DISC is a lifeline that I think at the moment I could not live without, as a carer living with a person (who has Alzheimers) who will not go out, does not like mixing with people outside our house, except with medical professionals. It is the  only way I get to meet people who are also caring /living with people  with dementia.”
